I thoroughly enjoy being a wedding photographers in Des Moines. Every event and wedding is always different and unique. Being a photographer I feel like I get to meet some of the most amazing couples and kindred spirits. When I first meet Julianna & Nathan back in 2019, while they were planning their 2020 wedding celebration. They decided to elope in 2019 but have a celebration ceremony and reception in 2020. However, when Covid hit in 2020 it put so many couples in a lurch. They had to cancel their celebration ceremony event. They then decided to have an anniversary shoot to celebrate their elopement. The bridal shoot in Broomfield was in mid to late November so a tad on the chilly side. As a wedding photographers in Des Moines, I had photographed their engagement session in 2019. It was a little chilly and overcast that day as well. We joked that it was becoming our new tradition for photos. The engagement session was done on family land. We were able to take photos with their horses. It was an amazing session, I will update this blog with a link to some of the image once I catch up on my blogs.
Even though the bridal shoot day was chilly. Thankfully I always bring an abundance of blankets with me so we used some of those to stay warm. Julianna got to wear her wedding dress, they had a small cake. I love how fun the bridal shoot was! The park we used was quiet and tucked into a fabulous woodsy area. With the fall foliage gone it made for great textures.
