I thoroughly enjoy working as a Des Moines Wedding Photographers. furthermore it is always fun every day because each event is so different. I got to photograph this celebration ceremony for Sierra & Ben. They had started planning their wedding in 2019 and when covid hit in 2020 just like so many they had to rearrange their plans. As a result in 2020 they decided to continue with having a small ceremony. Even though the event was very small and immediate family, it was still so lovely. My second photographer Aundrea Eilers helped photograph their small ceremony in 2020. Then finally this year both of us were able to join them again as they got to celebrate their union with family and friends.
For Des Moines Wedding Photographers, this March Spring day was perfect. It turned out cloudy and warm. Sierra & Ben mixed dirt together and poured it over their dahlia flower. A semblance of their union last year. The venue Carper Winery was wonderful lighting inside. It is located in Norwalk Iowa. It was my second time photographing here and I loved the lay out. Lots of great light and room to move around. There is a vineyard towards the back that we used for photos last year. My favorite was this great hill with a willow tree on it. However in March with everything not yet in bloom we used some of the texture from a near by field area. I like the way it turned out for the photos.
