I absolutely enjoy being a Des Moines Photographers. Over the weekend I was able to photograph a great wedding at the District Venue. It was such a fabulous day for a wedding event. The flowers by Lavender Blue were lovely. Lynda does such amazing work with florals. They smelled divine. It was a wonderful day for Andrea & Brandon’s wedding. The weather lucked out and even though it was about to pour rain on us we made it through. Andrea looked so lovely, Sharla from Vanity & Glamour did a fantastic job on everyone’s makeup. Andrea & Brandon meet in 2018 in volley ball through a mutual friends. Hit it off immediately and just knew. They have two boys who are such sweet kids. They looked so adorable in their suits.
As a Des Moines Photographers, I always like doing detail photos during getting ready time. It is such a good way to hone time and manage our shot lists. Next, we got to take some photos before the ceremony outside. We went their for Andrea & Brandon’s first look. Finally my second photographer Aundrea, and I got to take bridal party portraits. These area some of our favorites to do during the day. It is such fun. Overall it was such a great day! It felt so good to be doing weddings again on the other side of the pandemic.
