As a Photographers in Des Moines Iowa, we always get so busy during the summer and fall months. I’ve been sitting on so many amazing sessions. Just waiting to have some downtime to finally blog. Now it is January and the months when we do our admin work, and planning. I finally have a moment to catch up on some great families. I am sure a lot of photographers can feel me on that.
The Scott family is one of my favorite families to photograph. Like many clients they have been working with me for awhile now. I meet Heather & Ryan when I photographed their lovely wedding. Then in 2020 we did a milk bath with their first baby. Now recently in 2021 I got to capture photos of their beautiful growing family. I always love seeing clients year after year and be a small part in helping hold those memories for them.
Their session was taken during golden hour at Sailorville beach. It is one of my favorite places to go to during the summer time. It makes for some great moments. Kids can play or dip their toes in the water or sand. Families have room to roam here and lots of different backdrop areas. The sun during golden hour here is so crisp. Even when it is cloudy the sky is dramatic and breathtaking. As a Photographers in Des Moines Iowa, we all gravitate towards a good beach here during summer months. While we sit with this snowy Iowa cozy with blankets and warm drinks. We can look forward to what spring and summer will bring us. I hope you all enjoy these wonderful warm photos with me.
