Spring Minis

I am so excited to offer these sessions this year! I am so fortunate to have had a doula at 3 of my children’s births. The wisdom, love and care a doula can give a birthing mother and her family should be standard care for every birth. Unfortunately here in the U.S. insurance does not cover doula services and most families pay out of pocket. I am grateful that whenever I have birthed that we were able to afford these services. However I know for many, that they can not afford it. Every birthing woman should have the love and care here! Even if I can only help a little bit, it is so worth it to me.

That is why I am offering these sessions. To celebrate motherhood, momma and her babies. ( it doesn’t matter how old you are you will always be her baby!) The sessions are $200 in Des Moines. That includes a 20 minute photography session, 10 digital images with print rights, a flower crown for momma and 1 child, (more crowns may be available for purchase.). A portion of these proceeds will go to the Iowa Doula Agency’s scholarship fund! The fund is available for families who may otherwise not be able to afford doula services.
